Colour
The colour of the background is black making. Since all the other conventions appear in front of the background and are all in bright colours, they are easy for the audience to observe. Furthermore, the colours that used for the text are also easy for the audience to read. Both the images and text are illustrated in similar colours, suggesting that this example follows a scheme.
Images
In terms of the lifestyle Whinehouse lived in, this advert would target a teenage and adult audience. However, there's only one image that's used in this example. This could suggest the importance of what this convention illustrates.
Font
All the text are seen in capital letters and with a bold font, which is also easy for the audience to read. Most of them are seen horizontally, apart from the phrase "Back To". It's depicted in a handwritten font and includes letters that are seen in both upper and lower case. Using more than one font increases the level of perfection and amusement.
Layout
Although the text "Back To" is displayed in front of the two singers, it doesn't cover much of the image seeing as how the image of the singers are an important convention in this example. The text below "BACK TO BLACK" is information about the classic album. Similar to the previous examples, the informative language is displayed below the main conventions that are used in an advert.
Language
Although the language that is displayed below the title and the image is informative, it includes some vocabulary that allows the language to be engaging. In other words, it uses words like "revival" and "classic", allowing the audience to feel entertained and informed.
