Blog No.52: Plans for shoot

Before I inform you about our plans this afternoon after school, there has been a character change. Due Tommy's lack of availability and Grib's role as the singer, Charlie gave me the role as the main character in the narrative. Although Grib was unavailable yesterday, he is still playing the role as the singer. I'm not sure how Charlie could be involved in the narrative if we're planning on targeting a gender-shared audience. She could play the manager who fires me or a member of a band - if we are involving a band.

Clothing
  • Blazer, shirt, trousers and tie.
  • Slick hair.
Props
  • School bag / brief case.
  • Mobile phone.
Narrative
  • Begins with Christopher waking up and the silhouette 'stepping into' its body.
  • Powering him up - expressionless look (almost robotic) reflecting capitalist lifestyle.
  • Christopher misses bus and walks through Ouseburn.
  • A place where Christopher is able to experience the side of life he has never experienced: art, society, etc.
  • Begins to scare him, looking anxious and walks fast.
  • Receives a text from his boss telling him that he's late for work and he's possibly fired, building up the "pressure".
  • Becomes frustrated and has strong catharsis about the process of life and work.
  • Looks back and steps into the silhouette, leaving the past behind.
  • Silhouette follows him around whilst Christopher discovers this new side of life.
  • This includes dancing, freedom and enjoyment of which he was unable to have because of his demanding city job.
