Blog No.89: Whitley Bay (footage)

From the start of the video, the character wears black suit, trousers and white shirt. These two colours link to how living a life in conformity is serious and assertive. Therefore, near the end, the character wears a red shirt and blue jeans as a meaning to suggest how he's free from conformity and how these two colours are more eye-catching than black and white. Using Tommy's car, they filmed a tracking shot of me walking, taking my blazer off, revealing the red shirt and began to run. We also found a forest-like scenery near the car park, where I began to wander off, drop to my knees and fall down. Tommy panned the camera around me in the centre of the forest, quite similar to what we did with Grib in the rough cut. And finally, he shot at a low angle of the character lying on the ground.
